A Special Guide For Zayed University Students

So, I decided to write a guide for all new Zayed University students.

To start off, always have a smile on your face! Be friendly to everyone who is around you. You will have different people in every class so try to make friends with people in different classes so they can tell you what you missed on if your circumstances forced you to be absent one day.
Always try to keep your attendance 0. If it reaches over 10% then there will be withdrawal from the class, which will lead to FAILURE, and you don’t want that to happen. Also, know that some teachers grade the attendance as part of class participation.

Try your best to get A’s in your colloquy courses.  These are the easy courses that can help with keeping your GPA quite high. It is much easier and demands less work than the major courses.

Take your time in deciding what you want to study. You have a year and a half to decide on your major and that is good. See what interests you the most during that time then you can decide. Likewise, don’t rush into graduation if you can’t handle pressure and you think that will lower your grades. Do not worry just take your time. You are going to graduate anyway.

Always work hard. Trust me, the hard work will pay off and you will feel good about it when your grades are out!  This will also benefit you for future studies, if you want to get your masters degree.

Lastly, extracurricular activities are definitely important. Try to be active and get into as much clubs as you can. You can also join the student council and/or PALs, which can be great!

Just remember, if you can take my advice and work through this guideline everything will be a piece of cake!
